Educational Qualification:- Essential:- 1. Senior Secondary School (Class Twelve) certificate or Intermediate or its equivalent with atleast 45% marks from a recognized Board/university.
2. Diploma/Certificate in Nursery Teacher Education programme of a duration of not less than two years or B.Ed. (Nursery) from a recognized institute.

3. Must have passed Hindi at Secondary Level.

Pay Scale:- 9300-34800 + Grade Pay 4200 Group: ‘B’

Age Limit:- Not exceeding 30 years, Age Relaxation will be given as per the table regarding age relaxation given below at para 6. Kashmiri Migrant Teachers:- One time relaxation in the upper age limit for the numbers of years served as teacher in Dte. Of Education. Guest/Contract teachers:-Relaxation in upper age as a onetime measure upto the actual time spent as guest/contract teacher in Dte. Of Education, subject to a maximum of 5 years provided they have worked for atleast 120 working days in that particular year (this would be applicable to those guest/contract teachers who 
Page 5 of 21 have worked for the academic years 2012-13, 2013-14,2014-15, 2015-16 & 2016-17).
This post is identified suitable for PH(OH-OA, OL, OAL, BL & VH- B., LV) candidate as per requisition of user department. 

Assistant Teacher (Primary)

Educational Qualification:- Essential:- 1. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with atleast 50% marks and 2-years Diploma in elementary education (by whatever name known) from a recognized Board.

OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with atleast 45% marks and 2-years Diploma in elementary education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE recognition norms and procedure regulations-2002 .OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with atleast 50% marks and 4-years Bachelor of elementary education (B.El.Ed). OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with atleast 50% marks and 2-years Diploma in Education (special education) from a recognized Board. OR Graduation and 2-years Diploma in elementary education (by whatever name known) from a recognized Board.

2. Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

3. Must have passed Hindi or Urdu or Punjabi or English as a subject at Secondary Level.

Note:- Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks (in Academic qualification) shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC/ST/OBC/PH.
